In the heavens, an angel of light
Fell in love with a human, one starry night.
It tried to resist with all its might,
But was pulled down to the human's side.
It gave the human quite a fright,
As an angel is an unusual sight.
The love of them grew to shine so bright,
It didn't cause the devil any delight
And as the human withered and died,
The angel fought satan with all its might,
But eventually, it lost the fight.
It was sealed in an abyss made of despair,
Which became too much for the angel to bear.
It screamed about how death wasn't fair,
But life was far worse, it would declare.
And suddenly, there was blinding light,
Like the fire of love on that starry night
And the human's ghost told the angel to fight,
To slay the devil, turn wrong into right.
So the angel took one last flight:
In mid-air, it staked its heart and cried.
The blood and tears formed a swirl so wide,
The devil fought hard, but was pulled inside.
And as God watched his angel with pride,
He took it back to heaven, b
